Mauro Senise - Choro bandido

NEY MATOGROSSO - Balada do Louco

Mas louco é quem me diz
E não é feliz, não é feliz

Se eles são bonitos, sou Alain Delon
Se eles são famosos, sou Napoleão
Mas louco é quem me diz

Mas louco é quem me diz

Mais louco é quem me diz
E não é feliz
Eu sou feliz

Johnny Cash & June Carter- Help Me Make It Through The Night

E a tarde de domingo avança...

Johnny Cash Hurt

Hurt
I hurt myself today
To see if I still feel
I focus on the pain
The only thing that's real

The needle tears a hole
The old familiar sting
Try to kill it all away
But I remember everything

(Chorus)
What have I become?
My sweetest friend
Everyone I know goes away
In the end

And you could have it all
My empire of dirt

I will let you down
I will make you hurt..

I wear this crown of thorns
Upon my liar's chair
Full of broken thoughts
I cannot repair

Beneath the stains of time
The feelings disappear
You are someone else
I am still right here

(Chorus)
What have I become?
My sweetest friend
Everyone I know goes away
In the end

And you could have it all
My empire of dirt

I will let you down
I will make you hurt

If I could start again
A million miles away
I would keep myself
I would find a way

Sábado à noite merece alegria...

Norah Jones December

Alan Parsons Project - Eye In The Sky

The Beatles - And I Love Her

And I love Her
I give her all my love
That's all I do
And if you saw my love
You'd love her too
I love her

She gives me everything
And tenderly
The kiss my lover brings
She brings to me
And I love her

A love like ours
Could never die
As long as I
Have you near me

Bright are the stars that shine
Dark is the sky
I know this love of mine
Will never die
And I love her

Bright are the stars that shine
Dark is the sky
I know this love of mine
Will never die
And I love her

Harry Belafonte - Try To Remember

Try to remember the kind of September
When life was slow and oh
so mellow.
Try to remember the kind of September
When grass was green and grain was yellow.
Try to remember the kind of September
When you were a tender and callow fellow.
Try to remember and if you remember
then follow
follow.

Try to remember when life was so tender
When noone wept except the willow.
Try to remember when life was so tender
When dreams were kept beside your pillow.
Try to remember when life was so tender
When love was an ember about to billow.
Try to remember and if you remember
then follow
follow.

Deep in December it's nice to remember
Although you know the snow will follow.
Deep in December it's nice to remember
Without a hurt the heart will hollow.
Deep in December
it's nice to remember
The fire of September that made you mellow.
Deep in December our hearts should remember and follow
follow.

Try to remember

Pablo Milanes El Amor de mi Vida

Te negaré tres veces
Antes de que llegue el alba.
Me fundiré en la noche
Donde me aguarda la nada.
Me perderé en la angustia
De buscarme y no encontrarme.
Te encontraré en la luz
Que se me esconde tras el alma.

Desandaré caminos
Sin salidas como muros.
Recorreré los cuerpos
Desolados sin futuro.
Destruiré los mitos
Que he formado
Uno a uno
Y pensaré en tu amor
Este amor nuestro
Vivo y puro.

Te veo sonreír
Sin lamentarte de una herida.
Cuando me vi partir pensé
Que no tendrías vida.
Qué gloria te tocó,
Qué ángel te amó
Que has renacido.
Qué milagro se dio
Cuando el amor
Volvía a tu nido.

Qué puedo hacer,
Quiero saber
Que me atormenta en mi interior.
Si es el dolor
Que empieza a ser
Miedo a perder
Lo que se amó.

Será que eres
El amor de mi vida...

Madredeus - Teresa Salgueiro - "Coisas pequenas".

Wagner, The ride of the Valkyries

Richard Wagner
The ride of the Valkyries, from Die Walküre

Richard Wagner is considered the master of German opera, and one of the most progressive composers in history.
The philosophical issues that Wagner considered vital to society were the tension between good and evil, between the physical and spiritual, and between selfishness and redemptive love.
Wagner is also one to the most controversial composers of our time, his music was breathtaking, his politics left many cold.

Der Ring des Nibelungen, (The Ring of the Nibelung), is a cycle of four epic music dramas by the German composer Richard Wagner.

Bauhaus - Bela Lugosi's Dead (live)

White on white translucent black capes
Back on the rack
Bela Lugosi's dead
The bats have left the bell tower
The victims have been bled
Red velvet lines the black box
Bela Lugosi's dead
Undead undead undead
The virginal brides file past his tomb
Strewn with time's dead flowers
Bereft in deathly bloom
Alone in a darkened room
The count
Bela Lugosi's dead
Undead undead undead

BATUCADA CARIOCA - FOR 1019DRUMMER

HIMNO A LA MUJER

Un pequeño homenaje
para nosotras, las mujeres.
De todas las edades y nacionalidades.
Sobre todo a las que contra viento
y marea siguen, seguimos, amando,
soñando y luchando por un mundo mejor.
El tema musical justamente se llama
"Glorianna - Himno a la mujer",
de Vangelis.
Y Dios me hizo mujer,
de pelo largo, ojos,
nariz y boca de mujer.
Con curbas y pliegues
y suaves hondonadas,
y me cavó por dentro,
me hizo un taller de seres humanos.

Tejió delicadamente mis nervios
y balanceó con cuidado
el número de mis hormonas.
Compuso mi sangre
y me inyectó con ella
para que irrigara
todo mi cuerpo;

Me trazem você
A onde anda você?

Onde Anda Você

Astrud Gilberto - Light my fire

Robbie Williams - My Way

And now the end is near
So I face the final curtain
My friend, I'll say it clear
I'll state my case of which I'm certain

I've lived a life that's full
I've travelled each and every highway
And more, much more than this
I did it my way

Regrets, I've had a few
But then again, too few to mention
I did what I had to do
And saw it through without exception

I planned each charted course
Each careful step along the byway
Oh, and more, much more than this
I did it my way

Yes, there were times, I'm sure you knew
When I bit off more than I could chew
But through it all when there was doubt
I ate it up and spit it out
I faced it all and I stood tall
And did it my way

I've loved, I've laughed and cried
I've had my fails, my share of losing
And now as tears subside
I find it all so amusing
To think I did all that
And may I say, not in a shy way
Oh, no, no not me
I did it my way

For what is a man, what has he got
If not himself, then he has not
To say the things he truly feels
And not the words he would reveal
The record shows I took the blows
And did it my way

My Way

Rufus Wainwright - Cigarettes And Chocolate Milk

The Square Set -That's What I Want

Quelqu'un M'a Dit (tradução) - Carla Bruni

No entanto alguém me disse...
No entanto alguém me disse...
Mas quem me disse que você sempre me amou?
Sabe, alguém me disse...
Que você ainda me ama,
Disseram-me isso realmente...

No entanto alguém me disse...
Que você ainda me ama,
Foi alguém que me disse

Me l'a t'on vraiment dit que tu m'aimais encore,

Leonard Cohen - Suzanne

Suzanne takes you down to her place near the river
You can hear the boats go by
You can spend the night beside her
And you know that she's half crazy
But that's why you want to be there
And she feeds you tea and oranges
That come all the way from China
And just when you mean to tell her
That you have no love to give her
Then she gets you on her wavelength
And she lets the river answer
That you've always been her lover
And you want to travel with her
And you want to travel blind
And you know that she will trust you
For you've touched her perfect body with your mind.
And Jesus was a sailor
When he walked upon the water
And he spent a long time watching
From his lonely wooden tower
And when he knew for certain
Only drowning men could see him
He said "All men will be sailors then
Until the sea shall free them"
But he himself was broken
Long before the sky would open
Forsaken, almost human
He sank beneath your wisdom like a stone
And you want to travel with him
And you want to travel blind
And you think maybe you'll trust him
For he's touched your perfect body with his mind.

Now Suzanne takes your hand
And she leads you to the river
She is wearing rags and feathers
From Salvation Army counters
And the sun pours down like honey
On our lady of the harbour
And she shows you where to look
Among the garbage and the flowers
There are heroes in the seaweed
There are children in the morning
They are leaning out for love
And they will lean that way forever
While Suzanne holds the mirror
And you want to travel with her
And you want to travel blind
And you know that you can trust her
For she's touched your perfect body with her mind.

Charles Aznavour - The Old-Fashioned Way

One of the most approachable, appealing, and downright enjoyable songs Charles Aznavour has ever written, "The Old-Fashioned Way" is a great song about a loving couple dancing slowly, close to one another, forgetting the new trends and fashions, for love never changes. Masterful performing from the grand Charles Aznavour. From his Carnegie Hall concert.

Pink Floyd - Echoes - Full Length!!! - Remember That Night

The full Length of Echoes by Pink Floyd. This version is from the outstanding DVD set Remember That Night.

Echoes written by Roger Waters, Richard Wright, Nick Mason, David Gilmour in 1970 and released in 1971 for the album Meddle. The original track from Meddle is Pink Floyd's third longest song at 23:31 minutes. This version is 22 minutes long.

The album Meddle represents ( to me) the coming together of previous sound experimentation, effects and delay loops that were the early formation of Pink Floyd's famous sound. The squeals from David's guitar is the result of an earlier mistake made by a Pink Floyd roadie who hooked up David's wah pedal backwards. David refined the sound which became known as "The Seagull Effect".

Chico Buarque de Hollanda - 1966 - Juca

Juca foi autuado em flagrante
Como meliante
Pois sambava bem diante
Da janela de Maria
Bem no meio da alegria
A noite virou dia
O seu luar de prata
Virou chuva fria
A sua serenata
Não acordou Maria

Juca ficou desapontado
Declarou ao delegado
Não saber se amor é crime
Ou se samba é pecado
Em legítima defesa
Batucou assim na mesa
O delegado é bamba
Na delegacia
Mas nunca fez samba
Nunca viu Maria

Pink Floyd - Comfortably Numb

Hello,
Is there anybody in there?
Just nod if you can hear me
Is there anyone at home?

Come on now
I hear you're feeling down
Well, I can ease your pain
And get you on your feet again

Relax
I'll need some information first
Just the basic facts
Can you show me where it hurts

There is no pain, you are receding
A distant ship's smoke on the horizon
You are only coming through in waves
Your lips move but I can't hear what you're saying
When I was a child I had a fever
My hands felt just like two balloons

Now I've got that feeling once again
I can't explain, you would not understand
This is not how I am
I have become comfortably numb

I have become comfortably numb

O.K.
Just a little pin prick
There'll be no more...aaaaaaaah!
But you might feel a little sick
Can you stand up?
I do belive it's working, good
That'll keep you going, through the show
Come on it's time to go.

There is no pain you are receding
A distant ship's smoke on the horizon
You are only coming through in waves
Your lips move, but I can't hear what you're saying
When I was a child
I caught a fleeting glimpse
Out of the corner of my eye
I turned to look but it was gone
I cannot put my finger on it now
The child is grown
The dream is gone
And I have become
Comfortably numb.

Comfortably Numb

Amália Rodrigues - "tudo isto é fado"

Perguntaste-me outro dia
Se eu sabia o que era o fado
Disse-te que não sabia
Tu ficaste admirado
Sem saber o que dizia
Eu menti naquela hora
Disse-te que não sabia
Mas vou-te dizer agora

Almas vencidas
Noites perdidas
Sombras bizarras
Na Mouraria
Canta um rufia
Choram guitarras
Amor ciúme
Cinzas e lume
Dor e pecado
Tudo isto existe
Tudo isto é triste
Tudo isto é fado

Se queres ser o meu senhor
E teres-me sempre a teu lado
Nao me fales só de amor
Fala-me também do fado
E o fado é o meu castigo
Só nasceu pr'a me perder
O fado é tudo o que digo
Mais o que eu não sei dizer

Almas vencidas
Noites perdidas
Sombras bizarras
Na Mouraria
Canta um rufia
Choram guitarras
Amor ciúme
Cinzas e lume
Dor e pecado
Tudo isto existe
Tudo isto é triste
Tudo isto é fado

Amor ciúme
Cinzas e lume
Dor e pecado
Tudo isto existe
Tudo isto é triste
Tudo isto é fado

Raul Seixas - Tente Outra Vez

Veja!
Não diga que a canção
Está perdida
Tenha fé em Deus
Tenha fé na vida
Tente outra vez!...

Beba! (Beba!)
Pois a água viva
Ainda tá na fonte
(Tente outra vez!)
Você tem dois pés
Para cruzar a ponte
Nada acabou!
Não! Não! Não!...

Oh! Oh! Oh! Oh!
Tente!
Levante sua mão sedenta
E recomece a andar
Não pense
Que a cabeça agüenta
Se você parar
Não! Não! Não!
Não! Não! Não!...

Há uma voz que canta
Uma voz que dança
Uma voz que gira
(Gira!)
Bailando no ar
Uh! Uh! Uh!...

Queira! (Queira!)
Basta ser sincero
E desejar profundo
Você será capaz
De sacudir o mundo
Vai!
Tente outra vez!
Humrum!...

Tente! (Tente!)
E não diga
Que a vitória está perdida
Se é de batalhas
Que se vive a vida
Han!
Tente outra vez!...

Oye!

English - The night of my sweetheart

Today I want the most beautiful rose of all
and the first star that will come
To celebrate the night of my sweetheart
Today I want the peace of a sleeping child
It's the abandonment of blooming flowers.
To celebrate the night of my sweetheart.
I want the joy of a boat returning
I want the tenderness of hands meeting
To celebrate the night of my sweetheart
ah I want love, the most profound love
I want everything beautiful of the world.
To celebrate the night of my sweetheart
I want the joy of a boat returning
I want the tenderness of hands meeting
To celebrate the night of my sweetheart
Ah how this good took so long to arrive.
I don't even know if I will have in that look
All the tenderness that I want to give to you.

Sugo sempre
Busco sempre a sonhar em vão
Cor vermelha, carne da sua boca, coração

Sade - In Another Time + Lyrics

You' d be surprised, girl
Soon they'll mean nothing to you
They'll fall into their brew and take down
Some of the boys with them too

There's nothing
Nothing that you have to do

In another time girl
Your tears won't leave a trace
In another time girl
In another place

You've been down girl
Their whispers are hailstones in your face
You're so tired of waiting
For something to change

They don't know what to do
With something so good
That you wouldn't hurt them
You wouldn't hurt them if you could

One of these days
They're gonna fall into their brew
And they'll know exactly
What they did to you

Darling, I just want you to know
Your tears won't leave a trace
In another time, girl, in another time girl

The Beatles- A Day in the Life

A Day in the Life is a song by the English rock band The Beatles written by John Lennon and Paul McCartney, based on an original idea by Lennon. It is the final track on the group's 1967 album Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band. Since its original album release, "A Day in the Life" has been released as a B-side, and also on various compilation albums. It has been covered by other artists including The Fall, Bobby Darin, Sting, Neil Young, Jeff Beck, The Bee Gees, Mae and since 2008, by Paul McCartney in his live performances. Rolling Stone magazine ranked it the 26th greatest song of all time.

There is some dispute about the inspiration for the first verse. Many believe that it was written with regard to the death of Tara Browne, the 21-year-old heir to the Guinness fortune and close friend of Lennon and McCartney, who had crashed his Lotus Elan on 18 December 1966 when a Volkswagen pulled out of a side street into his path in Redcliffe Gardens, Earls Court. In numerous interviews, Lennon claimed this was the verse's prime inspiration. However, George Martin adamantly claims that it is a drug reference (as is the line "I'd love to turn you on" and other passages from the song) and while writing the lyrics John and Paul were imagining a stoned politician who had stopped at a set of traffic lights.

The description of the accident in "A Day in the Life" was not a literal description of Browne's fatal accident. Lennon said, "I didn't copy the accident. Tara didn't blow his mind out, but it was in my mind when I was writing that verse. The details of the accident in the song — not noticing traffic lights and a crowd forming at the scene — were similarly part of the fiction."

The final verse was inspired by an article in the Daily Mail in January 1967 regarding a substantial number of potholes in Blackburn, a town in Lancashire. However, he had a problem with the words of the final verse, not being able to think of how to connect "Now they know how many holes it takes to" and "the Albert Hall". His friend Terry Doran suggested that they would "fill" the Albert Hall.

McCartney provided the middle section of the song, a short piano piece he had been working on independently, with lyrics about a commuter whose uneventful morning routine leads him to drift off into a reverie. He had written the piece as a wistful recollection of his younger years, which included riding the bus to school, smoking and going to class. The line "I'd love to turn you on", which concludes both verse sections, was, according to Lennon, also contributed by McCartney; Lennon said "I had the bulk of the song and the words, but he contributed this little lick floating around in his head that he couldn't use for anything."

Love is the capacity to take care, to protect, to nourish. If you are not capable of generating that kind of energy toward yourself—if you are not capable of taking care of yourself, of nourishing yourself, of protecting yourself—it is very difficult to take care of another person. In the Buddhist teaching, it's clear that to love oneself is the foundation of the love of other people. Love is a practice. Love is truly a practice.
