When I was a teeny bopper at a bus stop, early one morning @ 1965, a big bosun's mate in uniform was waiting for the bus too. He had a tape player with him, and blaring away was this tune. I could only listen in awe before I got up the nerve to ask, "Who IS THIS, man?" He looked at me like I'd just crawled out from under a rock and said, "That's Jimmy Reed, man."

I had that wax, that afternoon.
